You must be studying agriculture, have public speaking skills, farming experience, a desire to learn agronomy and marketing, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and able to lift 50 lbs.

You will conduct field research, collect and analyze data, scout for crop issues, learn about soil testing, and present your findings at the end of your internship.

  <b>About this Internship:</b><br> Being a Summer Research Intern at AgroLiquid is both exciting and rewarding. Our goal for each participant is not only to create an interactive experience but one that incorporates elements that are unique to their individual goals and interests. This means our interns are out, in the field, working directly with members of our research team, gaining firsthand experience in a number of areas that will prepare them for future employment in the Ag industry. Students who’ve participated in this program have gone on to enter fields within Agronomy, Research, Operations and more.<br> <br> <b>What you’ll learn:</b><br> Over the course of 15-weeks you’ll work alongside researchers at our North Central Research Station. You’ll participate in activities such as working with daily plot plans, scouting, planting, record keeping, performing stand counts, fertility and pest management as well as taking an overall observation of plant health.

  <li>Participate in projects and labor for the North Central Research Station (NCRS).</li>
  <li>Gain exposure to various aspects of ag business throughout the company, including but not limited to: Marketing, Sales, Agronomic Sciences, and Operations.</li>
  <li>Conduct scientific field research on various crops and soil chemistry and physiology.</li>
  <li>Collect and analyze data, learn about various technology for tracking, measuring and recordkeeping.</li>
  <li>Experience how to utilize field research as it pertains to selling and marketing products.</li>
  <li>Conduct field scouting for deficiencies, weeds, pests, and disease.</li>
  <li>Understand importance of soil and tissue testing and learn how to make effective recommendations for all nutrient requirements to correct deficiencies.</li>
  <li>Create a 30-minute presentation and poster project recapping the internship experience to an AgroLiquid group at the completion of the program.</li>
