As Associate Director Assets and Operations at Arup, you will:

<li>Active client relationship management on the German and European Property market by engaging with clients effectively, understanding their internal processes and market needs and fostering strong relationships.</li>
<li>Driving business development and identifying market needs for Asset Managers, Investment Managers for new and existing clients.</li>
<li>Develop services and ensure delivery for assets and portfolios in operation. Linking our existing Climate and Sustainability Services as well Programme and Project Management and TDD Service within Property Advisory with a wider client base and enable a systematic approach.</li>
<li>Advise our clients on value-add projects, decarbonisation programms aligned with end-of-life and lease periods as well as asset life extension. With a focus on advisory services, include our local and global inhouse skills in architecure, engineering and specialists allowing for a holistic approach to the assets.</li>
<li>Ensure effective strategy development and deployment for buildings in operation, clarifying objectives and expectations. Assisting our clients to operate in an efficient and sustainable manner.</li>

Unsere Kunden planen, bauen und sanieren Hochbauten vielfältigster Natur, mit Schwerpunkt Office, Commercial und Retail. The Opportunity

Building Services Design Engineer:

Together with Arup's mechanical and electrical engineers, we provide an integrated building services offering. We also collaborate with water engineers to ensure that plumbing and infrastructure work together, in sympathy with the complete water cycle. Our public health team offers our clients a broad spectrum of expertise and consulting services in a wide range of developments, such as commercial, residential and hospitality developments, universities, colleges and schools, hospitals and healthcare buildings, laboratories and research facilities, transport projects, including airports and rail stations, sports facilities and stadia, theatres and performance venues, museums and art galleries, large-scale industrial and manufacturing facilities and data centres.

You will be working in a multi-disciplinary office with structural, mechanical and electrical engineers and specialists such as fire and acoustic engineers, preparing designs in co-ordination with their team as well as external architects, surveyors, contractors and clients for projects across a wide range of markets. 

We are looking for candidates with three or more A Levels at Grade B or above, or equivalent, or a BTEC Level 3, in relevant subjects STEM subjects such as Computer Science, ICT or Maths. In addition, you should have achieved a Grade B/5 or above in English and Maths GCSE, or equivalent qualification.
