As a Lead Electronic Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Electronic integration of pressure sensing components to be used in a wide range of Aerospace applications.
Design Change initiation and implementation in accordance with our business procedures.
Manufacturing technical support and provide solutions for production related problems.
High standard of documentation for evidence of conformity and technical explanation.
Reviewing design specifications and requirements capture.
Supporting external customers, internal sales and marketing functions.
Continually develop and advance internal operating procedures.
Analysis of complex data to satisfy project targets and customer needs.
Generation of Documentation to support Design goals.
Verification & Validation of Customer requirements, to include Analysis, Test and Similarity to satisfy needs.

To be successful in this role you will:
Have an electronics degree from an accredited institution
Have proven experience in PCBs and electrical hardware
Have experience in Standards DO254, DO160
Have the ability to communicate to all levels and be fluent in English verbally and written

Have experience in low power (28 volts) analogue and digital electronics
This is a fixed term contract of 2 years with the potential to be extended or made permanent

This role is within the Global FPS non-metallic materials team primarily supporting the manufacturing and product development of onshore flexibles at the Houston FPS site.
As an experienced Polymer Engineer, you will be responsible for:<ul><li>
Participating in core business bid kick-off meetings and project handover meetings to facilitate knowledge transfer of industry requirements.</li><li>
Acting as a subject matter expert for polymer material and processing technology queries and clarifications as and when required by both internal and external customers.</li><li>
Experience working at leading engineering level, demonstrating an increased level of engineering practice and responsibility, development of others and showing leadership.</li><li>
Driving material and materials processing innovation, generating material qualification documents, procurement specifications and technical reports related to full product material range.</li><li>
Leading investigation, analysis and reporting of product and process failures in support of both internal/external customers.</li><li>
Existing Vendor technical support; develop and maintain technical liaison with vendors as part of continuous improvement including responses to vendor material technology queries and clarifications as and when required.</li><li>
Undertaking technical review and assessment of customer materials specifications providing comments, clarifications and identified risks as and when required.</li><li>
Defining material qualification testing programs and carrying out analyses based on test results.</li><li>
Coordinating proactively with the other team members (mechanical design, end fitting design, etc.) evaluating the possible impact of other disciplines&rsquo; design choices on overall pipe design.</li><li>
