Jointly owned by BP Oil UK and Shell UK Oil, BPA was founded in the 1960’s to develop, engineer and operate refined product pipelines and terminals. It is now responsible for the management of around 1,000km of liquid fuel pipelines and associated bulk storage, road loading and rail infrastructure around the UK. BPA also provides engineering services and operational solutions to the downstream energy sector worldwide. 
BPA is a founding member of The United Kingdom Onshore Pipeline Operators’ Association (UKOPA) and as a member of the ‘Oil Pipeline Management Group’ (OPMG) at CONCAWE in Brussels, BPA maintains strong relationships with most of the liquid pipeline operators in Europe.

What You'll Be Doing * Maintenance Master: You'll be the go-to expert, ensuring 98% plant availability targets are met across our COMAH Top and Lower Tier storage terminals and pipelines. * 24/7 Troubleshooter: You'll join our out-of-hours call-out roster, ready to tackle troubleshooting and corrective maintenance (call out roster will vary by team size and operational requirements but will typically be 1 in 7 weeks). * Operational Support: Provide operational support, from procurement of spare parts to ensuring the availability of critical equipment. * Team Player: Supporting colleagues and supervising contractors, enforcing safe systems of work, and acting as a key member of company committees and working groups. What You’ll Need Essential Skills & Experience: * A recognised professional qualification in a relevant electrical discipline (NVQ level 3 or equivalent). * Hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding, and supervisory roles within an industrial environment. * Good communication skills and proficiency in English, both written and oral. * A full and valid driving licence.
