 <h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Position Overview</b></h3>
 <p>Calian Health is seeking a full-time Addictions Counsellor with interest and experience in providing outpatient addictions services. As a member of the multi-disciplinary team, you would provide addictions counselling services to Canadian Armed Forces members in their exclusive outpatient clinic located on Canadian Forces Base Winnipeg.</p>
 <h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b> Responsibilities</b></h3>
 <p>Assessing substance-use disorders, including differential assessment of concurrent disorder</p>
 <p>Assessing process addictions, such as pathological gambling, sexual behaviour, and gaming</p>
 <p>Participating in the development of a treatment plan with the client and the inter-disciplinary health care team to address the clients’ addiction</p>
 <p>Providing therapeutic interventions such as Secondary Substance-Abuse Intervention Programs consistent with the established addiction assessment for the client in an individual or group setting</p>
 <p>Evaluating the effectiveness of the counselling program, interventions, and the client’s progressing in resolving identified problems and movement toward personalized objectives</p>
 <p>Facilitating educational activities and group interventions such as pre-deployment briefings, psychosocial services overview presentations, and group psycho-education sessions</p>
 <p>Delivery of psycho-educational sessions such as addiction-free living</p>
 <p>Creating and maintaining confidential client reports on treatment services</p>
 <h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b> Qualifications</b></h3>
 <p>Must have a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Nursing; or Bachelor Degree Psychiatric Nursing; or Bachelor or Master Degree in Social Work; or Master Degree in Psychology from a recognized university</p>
 <p>Must be either a Registered Social Worker, Registered Nurse, Registered Psychiatric Nurse, or Registered Psychologist</p>
 <p>Must hold registration with the appropriate licensing body in Manitoba</p>
 <p>Must have a minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience within the last 5 years performing a range of clinical services including addictions assessment, treatment planning, individual therapy, and group therapy for an adult population</p>
 <p>Current certification or willingness to obtain CPR Level C with AED</p>
 <h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b> Additional Requirements</b></h3>
 <p>You will be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level</p>
