You need a Bachelor's in Engineering, 2+ years in quality roles, problem-solving skills, team collaboration, and familiarity with 8D, FMEA. Understanding polymer processes and quality standards is a plus.

You will develop quality assurance processes, conduct audits, analyze performance data, resolve issues with teams and suppliers, maintain documentation, support new product introductions, and report on metrics.

Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our product lines. You will collaborate closely with our manufacturing partners in Asia and our Project team in London to maintain and improve quality control processes, ensuring our products meet or exceed industry standards. Key Responsibilities * Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures for manufacturing, prototyping and testing. * Conduct regular audits and inspections of our processes to ensure compliance with our standards. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and supply chain. * Monitor and analyse quality performance data to drive continuous improvement initiatives. * Work closely with suppliers and our operation team to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions. * Maintain and update quality documentation, including control plans, specifications, FMEAs, and inspection criteria. * Support the introduction of new products by developing quality plans and validating manufacturing processes. * Report on quality metrics and provide recommendations for process improvements Job requirements Essential Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. * Experience in a quality engineering role, preferably within the materials or manufacturing industries. * More than 2 years of experience working within a quality related field, who still maintains a willingness to learn and adaptable to new methods and environments. * Experience in 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys and FMEA. * Ability to work across multiple projects and be adaptable to a fast-paced environment. * Willingness to travel as needed. Desirable * Strong understanding of injection moulding or other polymer processes i.e. Extrusion. * Experience working with manufacturing partners in Asia. * Familiarity with quality standards and regulations e.g. ISO 9001 * Previous experience in a small or fast growth company environment. * Understanding of best practices in manufacturing. * Proficient in other quality management tools and methodologies i.e. QFD, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement.
