       <li>Liaise with internal local and regional teams to identify appropriate companies for inclusion on bid lists / direct negotiations to provide services and carry out works in specific locations.        Overview of Role:
      We are currently recruiting an Assistant Cost Manager / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a client focused team in our growing European HQ in Amsterdam. This is an exciting opportunity to join and strengthen RLB’s team while working in a supportive environment, on interesting projects.
      The role presents an opportunity to work across Data Centre projects as well as residential, commercial, life sciences, retail, industrial and more in the future while our team continues to develop, diversify and as RLB’s European business continues to grow.
      The role will involve supporting Senior Cost Managers, Associates and Partners on a range of projects. As you progress and develop you will have the opportunity to manage your own schemes in the future.
      The role also offers a platform to develop and opportunities to progress while working alongside a diverse and impressive team on exciting projects for international clients.

       Person Specification:

       Role Overview: This is an exciting opportunity for an undergraduate project management student looking for a Year Out Placement as part of their degree program. You will work alongside experienced professionals and gain practical experience in all aspects of project management. You will contribute to a wide range of projects, both large and small, within sectors such as commercial, residential, healthcare, and education.
      
       Key Responsibilities:
      
       As a Year-Out Placement Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
       Project Support: Assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of projects.
       Documentation: Supporting the preparation of project reports, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
       Budget and Schedule Management: Helping monitor budgets, timelines, and project deliverables, ensuring that key milestones are met.
       Client Interaction: Attending client meetings and helping to foster strong client relationships by addressing queries and providing regular updates.
       Risk Management: Assisting in the identification and mitigation of risks associated with project delivery.
       Compliance: Ensuring that project processes comply with RLB’s quality and safety standards.
       Collaboration: Working closely with various stakeholders, including contractors, designers, and other consultants, to deliver projects successfully.
