 As our next Transition Job Coach, you'll be tasked with building new and trusting relationships with supported employees with a disability and identifying their interest in moving to open employment. Your role will involve finding the best match between the individual, necessary upskilling, a suitable employer, their job responsibilities, and the supportive environment. You will play a huge part in building the bridge for supported employees and their desired employment!
 Based at Kingsgrove NSW: Must be open to occasionally going to Seven Hills!
 Key responsibilities:
 <ul>
 <li>Conduct interviews with each supported employee and define their ideal conditions of employment, learning characteristics, interests, preferences and support needs.</li>
 <li>Develop strength-based resumes or portfolios that represents the employees skills and abilities, as well as upskilling for potential employers in the open market.</li>
 <li>Conduct informational interviews with potential employers and maintain employer partnerships and network opportunities.</li>
 <li>Continuously present and review the personal profile to the supported employee and obtain their feedback and additional needs.</li>
 <li>Maintain close contact with both employer and employee during job training or placement to evaluate performance or resolve issues.</li>
 <li>Promote the rights and wellbeing of individuals we support so they are recognised, respected, and protected.</li>
 <li>Uphold and comply with Scope Workplace health and safety policies and procedures</li>
 <li>Report and record any concerns or incidents.</li>

 Requirements:

 <li>Previous experience in Employment Services/Mentor Services/Community Services/Youth Work/Mental Health</li>
 <li>Proven experience supporting people with a disability is essential.</li>
 <li>Ability to work autonomously with high level initiative to meet deadlines.</li>
 <li>High level verbal and written communication skills.</li>
