The Radiology department provides a broad range of diagnostic imaging through General X-Ray, Fluoroscopy and Interventional procedures, CT, MRI, Ultrasound and Dexa. To further improve the service and in line with government directives, the Radiology department has 7 day working as AFC compliant shift system. There will be an expectation that the successful candidate will work flexibly across 7 days dependent upon the needs of the service and any developments.. Lincoln County Hospital is looking to recruit Radiographers.The Radiology department provides a broad range of diagnostic imaging through General X-Ray, Fluoroscopy and Interventional procedures, CT, MRI, Ultrasound and Dexa.To further improve the service and in line with government directives, the Radiology department has 7 day working as AFC compliant shift system. There will be an expectation that the successful candidate will work flexibly across 7 days dependent upon the needs of the service and any developments..We offer excellent opportunities for career and personal development, with a minimum expectation of red dot training initially. Funding is usually available, where there is a service need for the skills in development. Medical staff are supported with a range of Extended Role Radiographers and Advanced Practitioners. With an enthusiastic and supportive approach to CPD there are many opportunities to further develop knowledge and skills.There may be an ad-hoc requirement to go cover additional sites, therefore the ability to travel between sites is essential.
