About

BioSoc is hosting its first ever Life Sciences Conference in October 2023, with leading researchers in Antimicrobial Resistance, Marine Biology and Psychopharmacology speaking about their work. There will be panel discussions on these topics as well! Whether you are just starting uni, or about to graduate, this conference is aimed at everyone to get a glimpse into what research is like in these fields. BioSoc is the perfect society for those studying a Life Science or Medical School degree, or anyone simply interested in biology. We are a welcoming community with a shared passion for science. We hosting fun socials, helpful academic and careers events and provide meaningful opportunities to volunteer: Schools Outreach and Widening Participation, Schools Talks, and general Engagement. We are always interested in hosting speaker and panel events for our membership.
