Law Society Mini-Golf Social Date: Thursday 3rd October 2024 Time: 19:00 (Courtyard for drinks) 20:00 (Junkyard Golf) Location: Junkyard Golf Club, 2 First St, Manchester M15 4RP and Courtyard, 2 Chester St, Manchester M1 5SH Join us for a fun-filled evening of mini-golf with a twist at Junkyard Golf Club! This unique venue features crazy, creatively designed golf courses, a quirky atmosphere, and plenty of chances to socialize with fellow freshers. • What to Expect: Get ready to take on one of Junkyard Golf’s wild and wacky courses, featuring everything from neon-lit holes to retro-themed obstacles. Whether you're a golf pro or a total beginner, this event promises laughs, friendly competition, and a chance to unwind. • Drinks and Food: The venue offers a great selection of drinks and snacks, so you can grab a cocktail or soft drink in between shots and enjoy the night. Important Notes: • Please arrive on time so we can assign teams and get started together. • Don’t forget to bring your student ID for any discounts. • Let us know if you have any accessibility requirements. Welcome to the Manchester Law School Law Society! As previous winners of the Best Academic Society 4 years in a row and one the largest societies at MMU, we offer a variety of events throughout the year to students who are interested in the legal profession. Our goal is to create a network of MMU’s next generation of aspiring lawyers. Furthermore, we aim for our events to be beneficial to student employability and informative on the path to a successful legal career! It’s not all career driven, however! We also organise fun and engaging socials to help students meet with like-minded individuals and establish a community with examples of fancy dress parties, Junkyard Golfing, Pub crawls and other fun outings! We aim to offer everyone the best student experience at MMU so everyone is welcome from all walks of life! It goes without saying that being a member of the Law Society alone is a fantastic addition to your professional profile, yet, we aim for our members to have opportunities they can be proud to put on their CV! Our current membership fee is £10 for the year which entitles members to discounts and more!
