About

Who are we? The Ukrainian society is an open, vibrant and diverse community. It is an entertaining but in the same time educational platform that unites people related to or interested in Ukraine and opens opportunities for new connections! What do we do? We discover Ukraine in all its diversity (1) by organising cultural and educational events, lectures and talks in the most various spheres (arts, culture, politics, finance) & (2) by holding social events aimed at meeting peers and discovering Ukraine in a more informal setting: watching, listening, tasting, painting, beading, singing, dancing, and more! For whom? We welcome the Ukrainian community of UCL, but also to anyone eager to discover the traditions our young but historical nation! All those who want to support Ukraine and show their solidarity by joining our various initiatives! With whom? ucl.ua aims to work in collaboration with the various societies, institutions, and organisations within UCL, but also beyond -- in London, the United Kingdom, internationally & back home in Ukraine to provide you with an even more extensive network of like-minded people and connections. We have previously worked actively with the SSEES Society of UCL, the Embassy of Ukraine in the UK and over 10 different Ukrainian student societies of UK universities. Why? Because we want to share the love and passion we have for Ukraine with you!
