Responsibilities

  • As an Engineering intern you will work within one of the following operating units.
  • Built Environment provides the highest level of technical knowledge, expertise and testing, inspection and certification, advisory and commissioning services to support our customers globally throughout the entire life cycle of their products and buildings.
  • UL plays a critical role and acts as a trusted partner to various stakeholders in the built environment and building products industry by knowing everything about every building, building regulation and requirement, fire equipment services and personal protective equipment by providing proactive insights on safe, secure and sustainable buildings, risk management solutions and tenant wellness and safety validations.
  • Within our Energy and Industrial Automation (EIA), we provide solutions for safety, security, and performance throughout the energy, power distribution and, automation value chains.
  • We work in a diversity of cutting-edge industries, such as: Power and Automation, Renewable Energy, Field Evaluation Services and Industrial Functional Safety.
  • The impact of our work spreads through many business areas on a global scale yet focused locally through our collaborative team members.
  • Your internship will consist of a 10-12 week project, networking opportunities, learning the UL Solutions business, and provide you with the opportunity to make a real world impact.
