What is the duration of the internship?
The summer internship is typically 12 weeks in length, beginning on or before June 2, 2025, and continuing through mid-August.
What type of projects will the intern be working on?
The intern will be involved in a variety of engineering experiences, including building energy modeling, energy efficiency assessments, and conducting energy simulations, among other related tasks.
What qualifications are required for the internship?
Applicants must be pursuing an engineering degree in Architectural Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program, must be entering their junior year or higher, or currently enrolled in a graduate program. A prior completion of a Thermodynamics course is also required.
Is this internship paid?
Yes, the internship is a paid position with an hourly pay rate of $22.00.
What software skills are necessary for this internship?
Knowledge of Revit software, Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
