Responsibilities

  • - Working closely with team members on specific projects with the potential to be involved in a wide range of project-related work including but not limited to
  • - Assisting engineers with building energy modeling, commissioning, retro commissioning and special engineering projects
  • - Working with engineers to provide energy efficiency and sustainable design services to the commercial building sector by identifying opportunities for energy savings and demand reduction
  • - Assisting with building energy and daylight simulations using tools such as DesignBuilder, eQuest, Honeybee, etc
  • - Evaluating energy conservation measures (ECMs) and assist in the implementation of ECMs – will include HVAC equipment such as pumps, fans, boilers, chillers, solar electric, the control and integration of HVAC equipment, as well as lighting and the building envelope
  • - Reviewing building project MEP drawings and related documents to become familiar with building energy systems and layouts
  • - Assisting with engineering report writing and creation of energy savings calculations/evaluations
