What is the duration of the internship?
The internship will last from mid-May through mid-August 2025.
What are the required qualifications for the internship?
Candidates must be an undergraduate pursuing an accredited degree in urban/regional or transportation planning or a related field, possess strong interpersonal skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Prior experience or training with ArcGIS is also required.
Is housing assistance available for out-of-state students?
Yes, out-of-state students are encouraged to apply and may be eligible for housing assistance.
What type of work environment can I expect as an intern?
Interns will work in an energizing office environment, and there may be occasions for flexible or hybrid work arrangements.

Are there any advantageous qualifications that could enhance my application?
Yes, having working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic design applications, prior experience conducting technical data research and analysis, and experience with 3D visualization programs like SketchUp and Lumion are advantageous.
How many hours per week will interns be expected to work?
Interns should be able to work 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime throughout the summer.
