What are some key responsibilities of the internship?
Key responsibilities include gathering and analyzing data, assisting with surveillance and deal workflow, supporting analysts, testing analytical models, working on sample credit reports, and presenting mock transactions.
Will I be assigned a specific team within the Structured Finance rating groups?
Yes, as an intern, you will support one of KBRA's Structured Finance credit rating teams, which include Asset-Backed Securities (ABS), Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS), Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities (RMBS), and Structured Credit.
Is there a capstone project involved in the internship?
Yes, interns will complete a capstone project to be presented to senior staff at the end of the internship.
What skills are required for applicants?
Applicants should demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, a strong desire to learn data and finance analysis, proficiency in Excel, strong communication skills, and the ability to take initiative and work collaboratively.
How will the interviews for the internship be conducted?
All interviews will be conducted via Zoom.
What is the anticipated base pay for the internship role?
The anticipated base pay rate for the role will be $26 per hour, subject to individual factors such as experience and skill level.
