What skills will interns develop during the program?
Interns will develop critical thinking, complex problem-solving skills, and learn the latest AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks systems.
Are there any specific educational qualifications required for the internship?
College Juniors or Seniors with majors in Design, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields are preferred.
What software knowledge is preferred for applicants?
Knowledge of BlueBeam, Revit, Navis Works, and other construction and Virtual Design software is preferred.
What responsibilities will interns have in the VDC Team?
Interns will assist in coordinating the layout and design of electrical systems, conduct clash detection studies, develop 3D BIM models, and produce construction documents from BIM/3D models.
Is it necessary to have prior experience in the construction industry?
