When does the 2025 Summer Internship program take place?
The program runs in-season from mid-June to mid-August.
Who is eligible to apply for the internship?
College and graduate students who have just completed their undergraduate Sophomore or Junior years by Spring 2025, or are currently enrolled in a Graduate program, are eligible to apply.
How do I express my interest in the internship?
You can express your interest by submitting the online application when the internship opportunities are posted on the Padres Career website.
What types of departments can interns work in?
Interns can work in a variety of departments including Marketing, Accounting, IT, Ballpark Operations, and Sales.
What kind of projects will interns be working on?
Interns will be assigned daily projects and tasks that coincide with their field of study, allowing them to work on influential projects that directly impact the Club’s day-to-day operations.
Are there any perks associated with the internship?
Yes, interns can enjoy perks such as hosted lunches, daily barista service, access to employee tickets, retail discounts, and more!
Is there any support for mentorship during the internship?
Yes, the program provides networking opportunities including Coffee Chats with the organization’s leaders to build valuable connections and mentorship.
When should I submit my application?
Applications should be submitted once the internship opportunities are posted on the Padres Career website in the Fall.
What is the minimum age requirement for applicants?
Applicants must be at least eighteen years old.
Will I receive updates about the application process if I submit my interest?
Yes, by submitting your application of interest, you will be added to the Summer Internship contact list and will receive an email once the internship opportunities are posted.
