What are the requirements to apply for the Advanced Hospitality Internship?
To be eligible for the Advanced Hospitality Internship, you must have significant experience in the hospitality industry, have completed the Hospitality Introduction Internship, have previously been a Kalahari Resorts Associate, or be ready to graduate in 2025 or 2026.
What is the salary for the internship?
The salary for the Advanced Hospitality Internship is $18 per hour.
How many spots are available for the internship?
There are a select number of spots available in this program at each of the four resorts: Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin; Sandusky, Ohio; Pocono Manor, Pennsylvania; and Round Rock, Texas.
Will interns have the opportunity to work in different departments?
This internship does not rotate between different areas; however, interns may be asked to help in other areas as business volumes vary.
What internship departments are available?
The available internship departments include Front Office, Housekeeping, Culinary, Dry Park Operations (Indoor Theme Park), Food & Beverage, Human Resources, Marketing, and Retail.
What kind of experience can interns expect to gain?
Interns can expect on-the-job training, exciting guest interaction, mentoring relationships with regular coaching, and the opportunity to connect and build life-long relationships with hospitality leaders and peers.
Is there a chance for continued employment after the internship?
Yes, successful interns will be strongly considered to remain with the company after the completion of the internship or graduation, as applicable.
