What is the duration of the placement programme?
The placement programme lasts for 12 months.
What will my main responsibilities be during the placement?
You will work as an analyst during two six-month rotations, contributing to analytical projects, presenting in forums, and influencing decision-making while gaining experience in Analytics and Pricing.
What kind of skills will I be able to develop during the placement?
You will have the opportunity to enhance your analytical skills, learn data science approaches, improve your understanding of risk management and commercial strategy, and develop your presentation and collaboration skills.
Is prior experience in programming required for this role?
While exposure to Excel and any programming language (Python/R) is advantageous, it is not explicitly required.
Where will I be working during the placement?
You will be based in the City of London office, with the expectation to travel to the office three days a week.
What kind of support will I receive during my placement?
You will receive support from your team and line manager, as well as a dedicated buddy and mentor to assist with your professional development.
What academic qualifications are necessary to apply for this role?
You must be currently in your 2nd year and on track to achieve a 2:1 or better in a numerical degree.
