  • Hancock Askew is currently seeking Tax Interns to join our firm for the spring 2025 semester! During your time with our firm, you will have opportunities to learn and grow in multiple aspects of public accounting, working on a broad range of projects while gaining the firm experience you need to be competitive in securing a Staff Accountant position in the future.

Requirements

  • Junior, Senior, or Master’s student actively pursuing a BS/BA/Masters in Accounting/Finance/Taxation or related field.
  • Demonstrated success in coursework as measured by a 3.0 GPA or higher in major courses
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 including Word and Excel, with experience with Visio or other general flowchart software preferred
  • Cordial and pleasant communication
  • Takes on challenges; sees tasks through to completion
  • Conducts research and utilizes available materials and resources effectively
  • Expresses themselves effectively orally and in writing; takes complex thoughts, synthesizes them into words using clear, concise language, and presents a cohesive narrative

  • Sets priorities according to external deadlines and project criticality; knows when to raise priority setting conflicts to management
