You will receive training in globally recognized qualifications, mentorship, and exposure to cutting-edge tools, including fully funded professional qualification for the Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) Certificate Level.
Are there opportunities for permanent employment after the placement?
Yes, if you are offered a permanent role, you will re-join as a second year after completing your degree.
What kind of companies will I work with as part of the Audit Industry & Services team?
You will work with a diverse range of companies, from FTSE 350 companies to smaller privately-owned companies, across various sectors including manufacturing, transport, energy, media, retail, professional services, and technology.
Is there a structured support system for new trainees?
Yes, you will be allocated a buddy before joining who will support you to settle into the team and navigate your placement, along with access to coaching and mentorship.
What qualifications are required to apply for this placement?
You must be in the penultimate year of your undergraduate university course and have a strong academic performance alongside other valuable experiences.
Will I be expected to take on complex audit work during the placement?
Yes, as you progress, you will take on increasingly complex audit work such as revenue recognition, valuation, and risk assessments.
Is travel required for this role?
Yes, there is a willingness to travel as part of the flexible working environment.
