What are the responsibilities of an Audit Intern?
The responsibilities include providing support on client engagements, assisting audit seniors in planning, field work, report preparation, and performing other assigned duties.
What are the requirements to apply for the internship?
Applicants should be accounting majors with a minimum GPA of 3.0, have completed an undergraduate degree or be in their final year, preferably have completed an auditing course, and be actively working toward CPA certification.
Is travel required for this internship?
Yes, travel may be required within San Antonio and surrounding areas.
What skills are needed for this internship?
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, along with strong communication skills, are required.
How will the internship prepare me for a career in accounting?
The internship includes on-boarding and on-the-job training to help interns be knowledgeable at a first-year staff level by the conclusion of their internship.
Are there opportunities for full-time employment after the internship?
Yes, at the conclusion of the internship, there may be an opportunity for a full-time permanent position with the firm.
What is the preferred GPA for applicants?
A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred for applicants.
