What is the duration of the internship?
The internship runs for a period of six to eight weeks during the summer.
When can I apply for the internship?
Applications are open from 17 September 2024 to 31 December 2024, although they may close earlier due to high demand.
What qualifications do I need to apply?
You need to be in your penultimate year at university, with a minimum expected grade of 2:1 in any discipline, at least 120 UCAS points in your A Levels (or equivalent), and a minimum of 6 (or B) in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent).
Will I have a mentor during my internship?
Yes, you will be partnered with a dedicated mentor who will help ensure your placement is both enjoyable and challenging.
Is there a chance to return after the internship?
Yes, if all goes well during your internship, you may receive an offer for a training contract upon graduation, without needing to reapply.
What type of work will I be doing in the audit team?
In the audit team, you will be involved in audit and accounts preparation assignments, starting with simpler tasks like cash at bank testing and progressing to income and expenditure testing.
Are there any opportunities to visit client sites?
Yes, there may be opportunities for you to go to a client site if such opportunities arise during your internship.
What is the working schedule for this internship?
The working week consists of 35 hours with flexibility around the core hours of 10am to 4pm.
Will I be compensated for my internship?
Yes, interns are paid an hourly rate and will be reimbursed for any appropriate expenses incurred while traveling to a client.
