Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or above in Architecture or Engineering with a background in Building Information Modelling (BIM)
  • Familiarity with BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of MEP systems and their integration in building design
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proactive learner with a desire to expand knowledge and skills in BIM and MEP design.
  • Ability to work well both as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating and modifying 3D BIM models for MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure accurate and efficient modelling practices.
  • Support coordination and clash detection, identifying and resolving conflicts between MEP systems and other building elements.
  • Participate in design review meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
  • Assist in producing drawings, schedules, and reports derived from the BIM model.
  • Support maintaining and organizing BIM files, adhering to company standards and best practices.
  • Engage in learning opportunities to expand knowledge of BIM software, MEP design principles, and industry trends.
