  • The PG Dip CYP IAPT Therapy is a ‘Recruit to Train’ course (newly named CYP Psychological Trainings: CYP PT) and as such, prospective students must apply for both a place on the course and a job with one of the Trusts/organizations who have successfully obtained places.
  • Please be aware the information on your application form (name and contact details, qualifications and prior relevant experience) will be shared with the Anna Freud staff team as part of the recruitment process.
  • Students attend university on approximately 2.5 days per week for teaching and tutorials, and work in the team for the remaining days.
  • The course is fully funded by Health Education England for 1 year and students are not liable for their fees.

Responsibilities

  • The post holders will obtain a Post Graduate Diploma in Children and Young Peoples Increasing Access to Psychological Services (CYP-IAPT) (1 year course) alongside experience of CAMHS service for 0-18 year olds from a range of child populations.
  • The post-holders will work within Community CAMHS, Homerton providing interventions whilst undertaking a programme of training at university to support their practise.
  • The focus will be on CYP-IAPT care principles and evidence based interventions for children and young people.
