What qualifications will I obtain in this role?
You will obtain a Post Graduate Diploma in Children and Young People's Increasing Access to Psychological Services (CYP-IAPT) upon completion of the 1-year course.
Is this position full-time or part-time?
This position is full-time, as you will work in the team while also attending university approximately 2.5 days per week.
Are the course fees covered for the CYP-IAPT training?
Yes, the course is fully funded by Health Education England for 1 year, and students are not liable for their fees.
What age group will I be working with in this role?
You will be working with children and young people aged 0-18 years.
Can I apply for the course and the job at the same time?
Yes, you will need to apply for both the job and a place on the course simultaneously.
What is the focus of the interventions provided in this role?
The focus will be on evidence-based interventions for children and young people, particularly those with Autism and/or a learning disability, in line with CYP-IAPT care principles.
