What is the purpose of the Cash Desk Volunteer role?
The Cash Desk Volunteer role supports the British Heart Foundation by helping to fund research into heart and circulatory diseases through engaging with customers, processing sales, and thanking donors.
What are the age requirements to volunteer?
Volunteers must be aged 16 or older. We are unable to accept volunteers aged under 16 or those with unspent criminal convictions.
Is the Cash Desk Volunteer position paid?
No, this is an unpaid voluntary position.
What kind of training will be provided?
Full training will be provided to ensure you are equipped with the necessary skills to serve customers and handle sales effectively.
What tasks will I be responsible for as a Cash Desk Volunteer?
Typical tasks include engaging with customers, answering questions, communicating with fellow volunteers, processing sales at the till, assisting with administration duties, and promoting Gift Aid and sales campaigns.
Are there any benefits to volunteering?

How flexible is the volunteering schedule?
