The intern will collect samples from Chemical Operations, run bench-scale experiments, interpret data, and assist with various projects such as developing new separations technology or streamlining production processes.
What are the basic qualifications for applicants?
Applicants must be currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related science or engineering degree, and have experience in a wet lab via coursework or research.
Are there any preferred qualifications for applicants?
Yes, preferred qualifications include experience with basic chemical laboratory safety, proficiency in MS Office, a desire to learn about chemistry or chemical separations, and knowledge of techniques such as titrations, chromatography, or ICP.
