Responsibilities

  • Take direction from supervisors and other staff members.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, cost estimates, and reports.
  • Prepare engineering exhibits and plan sheets.
  • Solve technical problems.
  • Will learn proficiency in operation of computer-aided drafting software.
  • Assignments of increasing difficulty will be submitted as proficiency is increased.
  • Understand and follow the company's standard CAD procedures for levels, line styles, etc., and standard drawing procedures for sheet layout.
  • Individual is flexible and may work with numerous project teams to help in project completion.
  • Maintain neat and orderly work area that will allow access to project information to other team members.

Is this position full-time or part-time?

Ideally, the position would be for 40 hours per week during the summer months and could transition to a part-time schedule when school starts in the fall, if needed.
