What educational background is required for this internship?
Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil, structural, energy systems, mechanical engineering, engineering management, or engineering technology from an ABET-accredited university.
Are there specific coursework requirements for applicants?
Yes, applicants should have completed three or more relevant courses, which may include structural analysis, concrete design, steel design, geotechnical and foundations engineering, surveying, vibrations, strengths of materials, statics and dynamics, and electrical circuits.
What skills are necessary for this position?
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills are critical for success in this position.
Is prior internship experience required?
Prior internship and/or engineering experience is a plus but not required.
What software familiarity is advantageous for applicants?
Familiarity with design, drafting, or engineering software such as AutoCAD, MathCAD, and Solidworks is considered a plus.

What is the salary range for this internship?
The salary range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00 per hour.
