Requirements

  • You must be currently pursuing an undergraduate degree (started in the academic year of 2023) in any of the life or health sciences.
  • Experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, where priorities can change rapidly and you have to adapt on the spot.
  • Demonstrated computer skills – requires excellent MS Office experience (specifically Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated teamwork, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Clinical Operations – After a deep training and working alongside the clinical operations team, you´ll directly interact with patients and healthy volunteers, responsible for tasks such as taking bloods, monitoring vital signs, conducting ECGs and other study assessment as required.
  • Screening – Gain a comprehensive understanding of the screening process required for a volunteer to be accepted onto a Phase I study. We provide full training to conduct screening appointments, including completing assessments and entering data into the electronic data capture system.
  • Laboratory – Join the laboratory technician team and learn how to process, pipette, store and ship the samples required to complete a Phase I study. Full training is provided in all aspects of laboratory work.
