  • Your experience and education:
  • Candidate for a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Cybersecurity.
  • Experience with development methodologies and programming languages.
  • Knowledge of the operation of security testing tools such as Attack Proxies and port scanners.

Responsibilities

  • With our depth and breadth of Cybersecurity services, the co-op student will have the opportunity to be responsible for various activities such as:
  • Perform Application Security testing against custom built applications, network penetration, web application testing, source code reviews and threat analysis, as applicable utilizing standard security tools
  • Identify network and application-specific vulnerabilities in target systems and recommend defensive measures to defend against possible attack by an adversary
  • Identifying, assessing, measuring and reporting on cyber/technology risks by conducting security reviews, audits, evaluations, risk assessments and develop recommendations for improvements
  • Assist in digital forensic investigations consisting of computer systems, cloud environments, and other digital devices
  • Research and improve your knowledge base of current technology advancements, trends and directions and identify the potential threats and exposures to our clients
  • Participate in the creation of security documents (operational frameworks, policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures)
  • Assist in the evaluation of new toolsets and techniques to be included with the team’s portfolio
  • Assist in developing comprehensive and accurate reports and presentations for both technical and executive audiences
  • Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues
  • Assist in proposal development, as requested
