Responsibilities

  • - You will be an integral part of the Control & Indication department, within the Fuel & Inerting Domain.
  • - The Fuel Control & Indication teams are responsible for the design of the complete fuel gauging and control system across every commercial Airbus aircraft, at all stages of the development lifecycle.
  • - You can expect to be contributing to meaningful work across our entire fleet.
  • - Over time as an Intern, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills as an Engineer, ultimately helping you to realise your potential.
  • - The work you will complete with us will not be limited to traditional kerosene-based fuel systems, but also to new and novel technologies.
  • - The design of current and future Airbus fuel control systems for our next generation of aircraft and the impact that novel fuels such as Hydrogen and Sustainable Aviation Fuel will have on these systems is of high importance and interest.
  • - As one of our interns, you will operate in a challenging environment, where you will be given a real and valued role in the Control & Indication team within Fuel & Inerting Systems.
  • - Our team operates in the following areas of expertise: Computer-based engineering (software, modelling); Design of control systems and their associated interfaces; Hydrogen Fuel Gauging and Control System development; Mechatronics & Electronics.
