Responsibilities

  • Supporting Customs Team in daily import/export of satellite parts
  • Supporting the end to end process, from supplier to customer
  • Preparing accurate customs clearance data entry work in accordance with Customs and Government regulations
  • Entering details into SAP system and specialised customs software
  • Awareness of the supply chain operation, including logistics
  • Allocating charges by charge code / cost centre
  • Receiving invoices via Click & Buy finance system
  • HMRC Duty Deferment charge allocation
  • Liaising with VAT team on adjustments
  • Monthly KPI's on import Duty spend
  • Monthly KPI's on supplier spend
  • Monitoring Purchase Order balances via SAP systems
  • Monitoring customs financial reclaims / refunds
  • Liaising with accounts team to ensure HMRC refunds are correctly allocated
