Responsibilities

  • Collects the data, does large scale processing and delivers to user community
  • Data administration and planning - resolves systemic errors, monitors the data ecosystem, develops strategies to scale up, addresses continuous integration, supports data management and governance
  • Implement and monitor automated data controls
  • Identifies syntax, structure, and semantics for each data source
  • Provides ideas to improve data ecosystem effectiveness and efficiency; participates in the implementation
  • Manage cyclical production releases. Maintain accurate and up to date documentation on each solution. Communicate known data issues to stakeholders.
  • Focus on collecting, parsing, managing, analyzing large sets of data to make the appropriate data accessible and available for use by variety of users.
  • Compiles detailed reports and conclusions based on data summaries.
  • Performs maintenance activities by analyzing data requirements and organizing application databases and data dictionaries.
  • Assists with data-system performance monitoring and tuning and contributes to the development and implementation of improvements.
  • Carries out data administration and reporting duties, including information gathering, transformation, integrity, maintenance, performance analysis, and capacity planning.
  • Maintains and disseminates standards and guidelines for using, controlling, creating, and maintaining databases for reporting and escalates issues to the appropriate manager.
