Requirements

  • Students should be familiar and comfortable with Microsoft Suite programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CAD programs (i.e. AutoCAD). Familiarity with any of the following programs is a plus, but is not required: Revit, MicroStation, and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

  • On-site survey, investigation, and documentation of building conditions, including façade, roof, interiors, structural and other mechanical/ fire protection systems.
  • Assist in preparing field notes.
  • Assist architectural or engineering team in preparing technical and investigative reports to support forensics findings and prepare materials related to presentations.
  • Review and research applicable building codes, ADA standards, and all other applicable industry standards, etc.
  • Assist the architectural team with the preparation of drawings and specifications, and construction administration services.
