Requirements

  • Applicants must be in the pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, with at least 2+ years of completed course work.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), Microstation/Inroads (Open Roads Designer), and AutoCAD Civil 3D skills are a plus
  • Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and clear motor vehicle report
  • Ability to communicate and work in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate projects with supervisor, project managers, and firm staff.
  • Provide sketches and/or detailed layout information to design staff for incorporation into the construction drawings.
  • Design, prepare and analyze preliminary and final plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation/InRoads (Open Roads Designer) software.
  • Prepares and designs street improvement plans, public improvement plans, and rough and precise grading plans.
  • Analyze maps, reports, drawings, as-builts and test results for design projects.
  • Preparation and modification of reports, specifications, estimates, and designs for projects.
  • Provide project specific technical information to the Project Manager for incorporation into the project specifications.
