No, the internship is in-person only and located at our offices in Baltimore, MD.
What is the minimum GPA requirement for this internship?
The minimum GPA requirement is greater than 3.3.
Is citizenship required for this internship?
Yes, United States Citizenship is required due to US Government ITAR program restrictions.
What year of undergraduate study is required for applicants?
Applicants must be at least in their 3rd year of undergraduate study; MS and PhD students are also encouraged to apply.
What types of skills are desired for candidates applying for this internship?
Desired skills include experience with communication interfaces (CAN, RS485, Modbus, I2C, and high-speed fiber), embedded software for converters, programming microcontrollers, DSP, and/or FPGAs, hands-on experience with HIL platforms, TI C2000 DSPs, and PCB design software such as Altium.
What kind of projects will the interns work on?
Interns will focus on areas such as developing HMI software for testing power converters, designing DSP-based digital control algorithms, detailed PCB designs, embedded control algorithms, and testing MV magnetic components.
