  • Required:
  • Pursuing 2-year degree in Automation Technology, Robotics & Automation, Electrical Technician, Electrical or Electronic Systems
  • Proficiency in reading and designing basic electrical schematics
  • Familiarity with soldering
  • Experience with basic hand tools
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel)
  • Demonstration of previous time management experience, ability to work independently and on a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must want to be hands on, on the production floor working with operators, engineers and managers
  • Preferred:
  • Robotics
  • Have completed, enrolled, or knowledge of course work basic electrical knowledge, schematic reading, circuits 1 & 2, troubleshooting 101
  • Sensor selection and integration

Responsibilities

  • Work with Technician team to diagnose product failure root causes on customer returns and in process job rework
  • Perform hands on duties supporting manufacturing line under guidance of technicians and engineers
  • Create product rework trouble shooting guides
  • Assist in workflow as needed to support electrical technician duties
  • Test product under guidance of technicians
  • Collect product and test data, analyze data and make recommendations
  • Other duties as assigned
