Is this position eligible for remote work?
No, permanent remote work is not currently an option; candidates must be local to GMC's Atlanta/Cartersville, GA offices.
What educational background is required for the Engineering Intern position?
Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) from an accredited engineering program in civil or environmental engineering and should have completed their junior year of study.
Is prior internship experience preferred for this role?

What types of calculations will the intern be responsible for?
The intern will perform calculations related to stormwater quality, overland flows, and retention/detention.

Yes, the intern will coordinate between and manage entities such as clients, architects, subcontractors, and governing agencies.
What essential functions will the intern be performing?
The intern will produce engineering documents for site development projects, prepare reports and technical memorandums, assist in project management under construction, and provide support to GMC engineers as needed.
Are there travel requirements for this position?
Yes, candidates must be able to perform work-related travel and possess a valid driver's license.
