What is the duration of the internship?
The internship is a summer position for Summer 2025.
What type of training will the intern receive?
The intern will receive 40 hours of safety training prior to starting the internship.
Will interns have a mentor during the program?
Yes, each intern will be assigned a leader/mentor in the environmental consulting field to assist with career planning and technical skill development.
What academic qualifications are required for this internship?
Candidates must have a high school diploma and be currently enrolled in an Environmental Engineering, Geology, Biology, or a similar program, ideally with less than one year remaining to complete their BS degree.
What kind of work will the intern perform during the internship?
Interns will participate in field testing and inspection activities, data acquisition and review, report preparation, and will assist field and office personnel with their tasks.
Is there an opportunity for networking during the internship?
Yes, interns will have the opportunity to connect with other interns across the company through a cohort, which also includes a presentation to the executive leadership team at the end of the summer.
Will interns be compensated for their training?
Yes, interns will be paid for the time spent going through the online 40-hour safety training class as well as for the class itself.
