Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental site evaluations, testing, and inspection services.
  • Assist with the completion of site investigation activities such as soil borings and/or test pit excavations, and other supporting tasks as deemed necessary by Supervisor.
  • Complete soil, ground water, and air sampling and investigations.
  • Pickup and drop-off samples to laboratories. Earthwork oversight (over excavation of fill material, excavation of contaminated soils, etc.).
  • Conduct Post excavating samples. Test pit oversight.
  • Complete project data analysis and report writing.
  • Complete ASTM Phase I site assessments.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for the equipment under the direction of a senior engineer.
  • Maintain the instruments in calibrated condition, collecting and reporting data to the manager, managing lab supply/inventory, and assisting in preparation of reports/presentations. Ensure that all safety policies and procedures are followed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
