Responsibilities

  • Event Support – In support of the Event & Communications Manager, assist with creative concepts and overall execution of key customer and stakeholders' events including State of Tourism (February), NCCA Basketball FAM (March), ROSE Awards (May), and Indianapolis 500 Activations (May).
  • Assist in the creative theme and design plan
  • Assist in securing event rentals and supplies
  • Coordinate with various committees and staff throughout planning process
  • Participate in event logistics meetings with partners and internal teams
  • Provide support in ticket allocations and seating arrangements
  • Prepare and package amenities for events with key customers and stakeholders
  • Assist with onsite event execution
  • Contribute to wrap up reports on each event
  • Assist with site selection and rental of offsite venues for entertaining clients and future events
  • Write communication and marketing collateral per event that align with Visit Indy's media relations tactics
  • Collaborate on tradeshow booth activations and promotions
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
