Requirements

  • Interest in commercial adult nonfiction and children’s books (fiction and nonfiction)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with social media campaigns and growing our influencer database
  • Helping brainstorm, create, and schedule social media posts, including the library marketing Instagram account
  • Media monitoring
  • Writing and compiling press materials, including press release and praise sheets
  • Researching new media contacts and outlets that would be interested in covering our books
  • Assisting with administrative tasks, including organizing mailings, managing spreadsheets, saving press clips, etc.
  • Attending department meetings and actively contributing ideas
