What are the main responsibilities of the Field Team Coordinator intern?
Responsibilities include recruiting and leading a team of Robot Operators, ensuring safety, managing schedules, communicating with engineering staff, and creating training programs.
What qualifications are required for this position?
Strong leadership skills, preferably as a college engineering student/graduate or Ag business degree, valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, familiarity with hand tools and power tools, and knowledge of farming are preferred.
Will I be working outdoors?
Yes, the position requires a willingness to work outside for up to 12 hours a day, on a schedule of 3-4 days per week alternating.
Who will I report to in this internship?
You will report directly to the Head of Field Operations/Engineering.
Are there opportunities for training in this role?
Yes, you will be responsible for creating and leading trainings in areas such as communications, ERP, safety, and more.
How large is the team I will be leading?
You will lead a team of 12 Robot Operators in the field.
