The internship typically lasts for 12 weeks.

The internship will be available in multiple U.S. locations, including Dayton, VA, and Springdale, AR.
What academic qualifications are required for this internship?
Applicants must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited program in a technical science field such as Chemistry, Food Science, Animal Science, Meat Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related technical science degree, graduating between December 2025 and May 2027.
Is there an age requirement for interns?
Yes, candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
What type of work environment can interns expect?
Interns can expect to work in an industrial/processing plant environment that is team-based, fast-paced, and hands-on.
Are candidates required to relocate for this internship?
Yes, candidates must be geographically flexible and willing to relocate for the internship opportunity.
Will I receive compensation for the internship?
Yes, interns are paid hourly for the time worked.

Yes, interns who demonstrate outstanding performance and a curiosity to learn may be offered an opportunity to return for an internship, co-op, or full-time position in the following year.
What is the expected GPA for intern applicants?
The preferred overall GPA for applicants is 3.0 or higher based on a 4.0 scale.
Do applicants need prior experience in food safety?
While not required, basic food safety knowledge with emphasis on HACCP, GMPs, labeling, food additives, sanitation, and food microbiology is preferred.
