What are the primary responsibilities of a Geotechnical Intern at Terracon?
The primary responsibilities include conducting field and laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates, performing sampling or testing as directed, assisting other field and laboratory personnel, transporting equipment and documents, cleaning equipment and work areas, and progressively increasing training and responsibility in work assignments.
What educational background is required for this internship?
A high school diploma and a BS degree in progress in a science or related field (such as environmental, safety, engineering, chemistry, biology, or geology) is required. The ideal candidate will have less than one year remaining to complete their BS degree.
What type of training can I expect as a Geotechnical Intern?
Interns will receive progressively increased training and responsibility in work assignments, allowing them to grow their skills and knowledge in the field.
