What degree disciplines are preferred for applicants?
While we are flexible on degree disciplines, we have found that candidates with backgrounds in Geography, Environmental Science, Ecology, Construction, Business and Management, or Sport Science/Coaching are particularly suited for this program.
Is prior experience required to apply for this graduate program?
No prior experience is required; we are looking for passionate graduates who are eager to learn and make an impact.
Are there opportunities for professional development during the program?
Yes, you will receive accelerated learning and can earn industry-recognized qualifications, as well as participate in our GC Develop training program to build essential soft skills.
What benefits does Ground Control offer to graduates in this scheme?

Do I need to have my own vehicle for the program?
A full driving license is required, as you will be traveling to different client sites, but Ground Control provides a fully expensed electric vehicle to support your field placements.

Will I work in both field placements and office settings during the program?
Yes, the graduate program includes rotations across multiple field-based placements as well as time spent in the office and potentially from home.
