What is the duration of the internship?
The internship lasts for 12 weeks during the summer of 2025.
What are the working hours for the internship?
Interns are required to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Thursday in the Omaha Riverfront office, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
What qualifications are needed to apply for this internship?
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a master’s or doctoral program in I/O psychology, psychology, statistics, survey research or methodology, or a related field.
Is prior experience with data analysis required?
Yes, experience analyzing data and using Excel is required, and experience with statistical software modeling packages like R, SPSS, Stata, Tableau, or Python is beneficial.
Will interns receive mentorship during their internship?
Yes, interns will receive 1-1 mentorship with Gallup’s executive leaders and senior researchers.
What type of projects will interns work on?
Interns will collaborate on research projects related to employee engagement, organizational culture, employee selection, wellbeing, burnout, and remote work, among other topics.
Is this internship paid?
Yes, the internship is a full-time paid position at a rate of $30/hour, along with a living expense stipend.
Will interns have opportunities for publication or presenting their work?
Yes, there is a possibility for interns to present at conferences or have their work published.
Is the internship position eligible for employment visa sponsorship?
