What will my primary responsibilities be as an Inspection Trainee?
As an Inspection Trainee, your primary responsibilities will include assisting Operators in the inspection and repair of used tubular goods, handling and cleaning pipe, performing thread and magnetic particle inspections, repairing pipe threads, and general housekeeping.
What qualifications do I need to apply for this position?
You need partial high school education and the ability to read, write, and speak a minimum amount of English. Additionally, a Class 5 Driver’s License in good standing is required.
Is any prior training required for this role?
Standard First Aid and H2S Alive training are preferred, although not mandatory at the time of application.
What is the work environment like for this position?
The work is performed in a shop and yard environment, where you may be exposed to dust, fumes, gases, and variations in temperature and humidity.
Are there physical requirements for this job?
Yes, physical requirements include squatting, bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting up to 23 kilograms, as well as walking on rough ground and working near moving equipment.
